After the extraordinary response to their Telly and Anthem Award-winning Virtual Choir of Joy, which united people across continents during the darkest days of the COVID pandemic, OCTOBER PROJECT is inviting New Yorkers to come together in the light of the Summer Solstice to sing JOY, live and in person.

In collaboration with Aaron Copland School of Music Professor and Conductor James John and the Official Marching Band of NYC led by Alex Jung, October Project brings their RIVER OF SONG, a jubilant parade of JOY in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Make Music New York, to Riverside Park on Manhattan’s Upper West Side on Sunday, June 21st.

This is a celebration you JOIN. Singers. Musicians. Families. New Yorkers of every age and every background are invited to step into the music and become part of something joyous and unforgettable.

Not only is it Make Music Day in NYC – it’s Father’s Day, it’s the longest day of sunlight, and it’s a beautiful Sunday Afternoon in the Park!  How often are you invited to march and sing along with a marching band, after all!
